The Guitar Player, Shawn A McKee
Shawn's first band at the early age of 15 was in fact his Uncle Larry's bluegrass band, Wildfire. His big break into the local music scene was when he joined up with The Honeydoos, staying on for eight years.
He enjoys every kind of music and is most influenced by Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, Sam Bush, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews, Ekoostik Hookah, Eric Clapton, Johnny Lang, and every body else!
His favorite television shows are Mythbusters and The Simpsons.

The Bass Player, Janelle C McKee
Always interested in music, Janelle hadn't learned more than a few chords on the guitar and bass until husband Shawn came along. Together 
they made the bass guitar fit her in time to fill the gap in The Honeydoos' band.
Shawn knew he had found his bass player. After three years with The Honeydoo's, Janelle and Shawn began their new music adventure as Purple Overcoat.
Her musical influences have made a few leaps from Motorhead and Megadeth, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Greenday and Korn, to Loreena McKinnet, Sarah Mclachlan, Vanessa Carlton and System Of A Down.
She reads sci-fi, fiction & fantasy novels by authors like Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Terry Goodkind and Anne Rice (to name a few) in her spare time and her favorite TV shows are Bones and Good Eats.
